About Marvin

Where it fits in your sales process

Marvin's Order Management System, OMS, supports the quote-to-order lifecycle for authorized dealers. Its Windows application provides product-option pricing and quote and order management. Marvin Order Status, MOS, is a separate browser tool for submitted orders and shipping status.

The connection scope

Keep manufacturer configuration and ordering in Marvin's tools. Confirm the authorized route for sharing commercial quote or order information with SalesJack. The OMS and MOS documentation describes dealer tools, not a public SalesJack connector or an unrestricted data API.

The data to review

During scoping, review the quote or order reference, customer or job reference, commercial status and information your reps need for follow-up. These are mapping questions to validate, not a guaranteed list of synced Marvin fields.

From context to customer conversation

Sales workflows to discuss with your team

01

Follow up on product selections

Keep customer decisions and next steps in the sales workspace so the relationship does not depend on a salesperson remembering which manufacturer quote needs attention.

02

Manage the quote handoff

Agree how an approved Marvin quote reference relates to the CRM opportunity. Keep configuration and final pricing checks in the manufacturer workflow.

03

Prepare customer order updates

Where approved order context is available, give reps the information they need for a customer conversation. Confirm whether a status is shared or still needs to be checked in MOS.

Implementation

Start with your Marvin setup

Identify your dealer tools and authorized data access. Review representative quote and order records, agree customer and project matching, and document where each status is maintained before setting expectations for the sales team.

  1. 1Confirm product and access
  2. 2Agree the data and permissions
  3. 3Test matching and updates
  4. 4Validate the rep workflow

Are Marvin OMS and MOS the same system?

No. OMS manages quoting and ordering in a Windows application. MOS is Marvin's browser-based tool for looking up submitted orders and shipping status.

Can SalesJack configure or submit Marvin orders?

This page does not establish manufacturer order-entry or configuration functionality in SalesJack. Keep those tasks in Marvin's approved tools unless a specific implementation has been confirmed.

What should a Marvin dealer confirm first?

Confirm which Marvin tools you use, your authorized data-sharing route and the quote or order context your reps need. Agree the fields, update timing and responsible system before implementation.
